Thinking about Counselling?

How can talking help?

Exploring your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental environment gives you an opportunity to consider the effect they are having on your behaviour and mood. Through therapy I will help you to make sense of past experiences, and to recognise and challenge negative patterns. You will gain deeper insight and I will support you in making changes which will be sustainable long after our work together has ended.

Where to start?

Perhaps you're wondering whether you, or someone you know, might benefit from talking about how you've been feeling recently.

How can you decide who to talk to, and whether it will help? I work as a counsellor and psychotherapist with the NHS and in private practice, based in south Hampshire.

I work with people from all walks of life, dealing with a myriad of issues. Some of these are set our below, but everyone's experience is different. Rarely are a client's concerns limited to a single issue. You may feel you don't know where to start, but together we will work things through, at a pace to suit you.
